St Paul’s Nursery Newsletter – September 2019
Welcome back to the new term. We hope you all had a good summer. We would like to welcome all of the new children to the Nursery and welcome back the children returning from last year. Thank you so much for the many gifts and cards that we received at the end of the year-they were very much appreciated.
I am hoping to return to work this term, following my cancer diagnosis in January. I am awaiting scan results, and will know more after that. I will continue to be involved in the setting, so please do not hesitate to contact me at home.
Our colour focus this half term will be:
Weeks 1 and 2- blue and ‘b’
Weeks 3 and 4 – yellow and ‘y’
Weeks 5 and 6- green and ‘g’
Week 7 – red and ‘r’
Please encourage your child to bring in an object of the focus colour or sound (phonic) to show and talk about. We will be settling in and learning our routines. We will be talking about Autumn.
Over the next few weeks, we will be updating our registration form, etc, to meet the GDPR regulations. You will also receive guidelines explaining how and why information is stored, and for how long.
May I politely remind you that the Nursery phone number is: 07904707997 and this should be used to inform us of any late arrivals, absences, or to inform us if another adult is collecting your child.
If you wish to contact us at any other time, please use 01252 370866, and an answer machine is available.
Please check your fees letters carefully and let me know if there are any queries regarding sessions, etc, as these can be easily rectified at this early stage.
I have put term dates and copies of the newsletters on our website, which is www.stpaulsnursery.com. These can also be found on our notice board. Don’t forget to join our Facebook page, where we share news, views, photos, and notify of any updates. Please speak to Diane Keon if you would like more information.
We have limited spaces available this year, so please give us as much notice as you can if you wish to change the sessions your child attends.
May I also remind you that half a term’s notice is required before a child leaves us, or a charge for the half term will need to be made.
The half term holiday is Monday 28th October- Friday 1st November.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
